I purchased three pairs of Skullcandy Dime earphones—one from the Skullcandy online store and two from Amazon.in. Unfortunately, my first order from Skullcandy was defective; one side didn’t work. Returning it was a hassle, as they only offered to repair it instead of replacing it. The battery life was also disappointing, lasting only 30 minutes or less.
The earphones have a design flaw where part of the body is made of exposed rubber, which wore down quickly and revealed the internal components. All three pairs I owned had a frustrating issue where the volume would randomly increase or decrease whenever a notification came through. For example, if I set the volume at 50% and received a notification, it would suddenly jump to 70%.
While I appreciate the brand and its designs, the product quality is lacking. Many other brands now offer superior quality at about 40% less. After experiencing battery problems with the Dime, I switched to the “BOULT Maverick” a couple of months ago and haven’t encountered any issues since.

If you’re looking for high-quality True Wireless earbuds from a reputable brand, these are the best choice. While there are numerous “white label” options (often clones of AirPods) available for low prices, they typically offer mediocre sound quality and frequent connection issues.
Skullcandy aimed to create an affordable option without compromising audio quality—and they succeeded. The sound is impressive, with a profile that leans slightly towards bass without being overwhelming. However, the trade-offs come in battery life and the construction of the case.
The battery lasts about three and a half hours, and while the case is conveniently small and portable (roughly the size of a car remote but thicker), it is made of lightweight plastic. It doesn’t have much battery capacity either, charging the earbuds about two to three times before needing to be recharged, and it doesn’t support fast charging, taking about an hour to fully charge once you get the “battery low” warning.

The item looks decent, but the sound quality is terrible and the volume is extremely low. At first, I thought it was just a setting issue, but then I realized it was a flaw with the product. Please make sure to test it out upon arrival, as it can’t be returned.

These earbuds deliver fantastic sound quality. Initially, I experienced some issues with automatic connectivity, but after troubleshooting, they are now functioning perfectly. This is my first Skullcandy product, and I’m excited to explore their other offerings. What I appreciate most is the excellent build quality and sound signature.

The sound quality is disappointing, and the touch controls are unresponsive. The fit is uncomfortable, and the call quality is lacking. Overall, the build quality resembles that of a 500 rupee pair of earbuds. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing these; they’re simply a waste of money.

I have a review for these earbuds. I spent $30 on them, and they fit my ears perfectly using the largest ear tips included. They are both comfortable and secure. I work outdoors in the winter, and they stay in place without falling out. Plus, they effectively block out noise, functioning well as earplugs.
The buttons on the earbuds are pretty pointless, so I recommend just using your phone instead—after all, it’s only $30, and it’s fine. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price. While Skullcandy may not be known for high-end products, these earbuds are more than satisfactory. I enjoy listening to both podcasts and heavier music with them.
I’ve never owned earbuds before because I thought I’d lose them quickly, but these feel durable enough to last. I’m impressed by their performance. Another great feature is that they connect immediately when taken out of the case—very convenient!
For $30, these earbuds are a fantastic deal. I’m really pleased with my purchase.

Replacement is not an option. The product has a one-year warranty, but it has stopped working. I contacted customer care, and they instructed me to send the product back via courier, as there is no exchange facility available. The quality is poor.
