Amazon Basics True Wireless Earbuds with Mic

I’ve tried various TWS earbuds before, but these are truly in a league of their own. They absolutely deserve a 5-star rating! Right out of the box, I was struck by their sleek design and high-quality feel. Connecting them to my devices was effortless, and the Bluetooth connection remains strong without any dropouts, even when I’m on the go. The sound quality is comparable to much pricier brands, and the charging case is compact yet offers ample power for prolonged use. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend these to anyone looking for TWS earbuds!

I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience with this Amazon Basics product. I had high hopes for the brand, but I’ve been let down.

Marketed Play Time:
15 hours of continuous playtime for the earbuds (at ??% volume) x 3 charges from the case = about 45 hours.

Actual Play Time:
Max of 3 hours for calls at 50% volume with the earbuds + 1.5 charges from the case = roughly 7 hours.

Even if the call time lasted 5 hours instead of 3, it would still only last me through a workday. As it stands, I need to charge the earbuds twice a day to get through my office hours. If you’re using these for calls, I’d strongly advise against them.

I initially replaced the first set of earbuds, thinking they had a faulty battery since they lasted only 2.5 hours on calls. The replacement set exhibited the same disappointing battery life.

For around 1000 rupees, here’s my take:

Comfort: They are comfortable to wear with no overheating inside the ears. There may be some mild initial discomfort, but you’ll acclimate after a week (you’ll hardly notice them after a while).

Audio Quality: Decent for this price range.

Quad ENC Mic: Performs poorly at this price point. It picks up noise from nearby people and muffles your voice when external sounds are loud.

Battery Life: Terrible compared to what is advertised.

Conclusion:
You get what you pay for, despite the misleading claims from a well-known brand. I should have chosen a higher-budget option.
