This was one of the few Soundcore models I wasn’t familiar with. In my opinion, the design is quite unique and very appealing. I’m not an audiophile, but I find the sound quality to be excellent, and the ergonomics and comfort are equally impressive. I got them on sale for just over 40 euros, and the quality-to-price ratio is definitely fulfilled. I mainly bought them for running, and I must say they stay securely in my ears even with heavy sweating, plus they are incredibly lightweight. Given their small size, the touch controls might be a bit tricky, but I believe that’s a matter of personal preference. The call quality is also very good. With the accompanying app, you can adjust some settings on the earbuds.

After nearly two years of searching for small, comfortable, and durable earbuds, I think I’ve finally found a winner! 🙏 I wear headphones all day at work, which is a very active job. I’ve tried numerous brands, including Samsung, Tozo, MEE, Raycon, and Apple wired headphones, but none have come close to these.
Here’s a quick rundown of my experiences:
Samsung: Expensive, good quality, but uncomfortable and they fell out easily.
Tozo: The longest-lasting of the cheaper options, decent quality, a bit bulky, and I had to adjust them often. After two months, one side stopped working—probably my fault from dropping them.
MEE Pebbles: The worst! Huge, bulky, zero noise cancellation, not worth the price, and they constantly fell out with poor sound quality. I didn’t even last a full day with them.
Raycon: No complaints except for the price, but they weren’t as good as these.
Apple AirPods and wired headphones: You pay for the brand; I went through three pairs of wired headphones in less than six months due to faulty wiring and mediocre sound quality.
Dollar store headphones: A quick fix, but you get what you pay for—definitely not reliable.
Now, onto the Soundcore A30i review. They check all the boxes I’ve been looking for:
✔️ Perfect fit (I have small ears)
✔️ Stay in place during extensive activity
✔️ Incredible sound quality
✔️ User-friendly app with various sound settings
✔️ Answer/decline calls
✔️ Affordable
✔️ Sturdy magnetic case that fits in scrub pockets
✔️ Attractive color options
✔️ Customizable touch settings via the app
✔️ Long battery life
✔️ Easy to connect
✔️ And so many more features!
I was hesitant to spend a bit more on these (having not personally paid for Raycons or Samsungs), but I’m definitely getting extras. I listen to podcasts, audiobooks, and music, and they have settings for everything.
Just buy them—you won’t regret it!

The value for the quality is incredible. They outperform my AirPods in sound quality, and the noise cancelling is exceptional. I also own the Soundcore big headphones, and both products are fantastic. If you’re considering these, go for it—you won’t be disappointed!

I was really impressed with these earbuds. Initially, I had some reservations when I took them out of the case. They don’t have a super premium feel—just a bit too smooth and plastic-like in my hands. Plus, one of the eartips came loose during setup.
However, once I started listening, I realized where the value lies. The sound quality is fantastic for the price, offering crisp audio that’s well-balanced. The soundcore app provides an equalizer to customize the audio to your liking, though I found the default bass profile to be perfect for me. There’s also a 3D audio feature, which I thought could be interesting, but it didn’t quite resonate with me for everyday use. Fortunately, it’s an optional feature, so no complaints there.
The fit of the earbuds is decent. They can be a bit uncomfortable when tapping the sides since they push into my ear canal, and I found that the smaller tips worked better for me, despite usually using mediums. They feel secure, and I haven’t had issues with them falling out, although the rubber eartips can come off easily, especially when removing the earbuds.
The noise cancellation is intriguing. Unlike some other ANC products, I didn’t notice a significant difference when switching it on and off while listening to conversations. However, it effectively filters out ambient noise like traffic, and the difference becomes clear when I turned it off while on a bus. That said, it doesn’t completely block out noise; some rumbling still gets through. This could actually be a benefit if you want to reduce background noise without missing out on conversations. The ANC is adjustable in the app, with various settings to customize the experience. I recommend experimenting with these options to find what suits you best.
The controls are okay. You can customize the number of taps for different functions, but I was disappointed that a single tap can’t switch between ANC and transparency modes—it requires double or triple taps or a long press. Although I could assign volume control to a long press, it only increases or decreases the volume by one step, which can be inconvenient. At least there’s flexibility in adjusting the controls to some extent.
The case is pretty nice. It’s longer than a standard case due to its lipstick design but narrower. I have deep pockets, so it’s not an issue for me, but I can see how a thinner, longer case could be more convenient for those with tighter pockets. There’s a symbol indicating which side is up, but I still occasionally opened it sideways. Thankfully, the magnets are strong enough that the earbuds stay secure, even when shaken upside down. Some comments mentioned issues with it sliding open, but I didn’t experience that; it only opened with significant force. It holds a good charge, and while I keep my earbuds charged regularly, it seemed to drain slowly. Knowing Anker, the overall battery life is likely solid.
In summary, these earbuds offer exceptional quality for the price. The sound quality surpasses expectations, and while they’re not flawless, they’re definitely worth purchasing if you want a reliable product without breaking the bank.
