I recently bought the BoAt Airdopes 181 in-Ear True Wireless Earbuds with ENx™ Tech, Beast™ Mode for gaming, Mic, ASAP™ Charge, 20H Playtime, Bluetooth v5.2, IPX4, and IWP™ in Bold Blue. While they have some impressive features, I found the sound quality lacking.
On the positive side, the design and build quality of the Airdopes 181 are noteworthy. The bold blue color gives them a stylish appearance, and they fit comfortably in my ears. I particularly liked the IPX4 rating, making them water and sweat-resistant—perfect for workouts and outdoor activities.
The ENx™ Tech and Beast™ Mode for low latency gaming are definite advantages. Gamers will appreciate the reduced audio delay, enhancing their gaming experience and providing an edge in competitive play.
The ASAP™ Charge feature is convenient, allowing for quick recharges when needed. With a 20-hour playtime, they last a full day without frequent recharging.
However, the sound quality of the BoAt Airdopes 181 is where they fall short. Despite their promising features, the audio output disappointed me. The bass lacks depth and punch, and the overall sound profile feels unbalanced. The midrange is somewhat muddy, and the highs can be shrill, leading to fatigue during long listening sessions.
Additionally, the Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity isn’t as stable as I had hoped. I experienced occasional dropouts and disconnections, which can be frustrating during important calls or while enjoying music.
The built-in microphone is decent for calls but could use improvement in clarity and noise cancellation for better conversations in noisy environments.
In summary, the BoAt Airdopes 181 earbuds come with appealing features like low-latency gaming mode, water resistance, and long playtime. However, the disappointing sound quality and connectivity issues prevent me from rating them higher. If sound performance is your priority, you might want to consider other options. But if the additional features are more important, these earbuds could still be a viable choice.

I initially gave this Bluetooth device a 5-star rating after a couple of days of use, but my experience has soured over the past few months due to a persistent issue. Despite placing the device back in its charging case, it fails to disconnect from my phone, forcing me to repeatedly take it in and out of the box until it finally disconnects. While BOAT has clearly invested in celebrity marketing and promoted its products effectively, the reality is that they don’t deliver on their promises. I will definitely never buy BOAT products again.

Overall, everything is great, but the magnets on the buds stopped working. I purchased them about two years ago. Otherwise, they’re fine.

I’m having issues with this device, and I suspect it might have a manufacturing defect. The battery drains extremely quickly, with the left earbud emitting a low battery beep after just 10 minutes of use. The sound quality is mediocre, with very minimal bass. Boat claims it has a “beast mode,” but honestly, I don’t notice any difference in sound quality.

I’ve been using this product for two days now and here are my thoughts:
Sound Quality: The bass is impressive and quite enjoyable. However, the treble seems a bit too sharp, making high-frequency music less pleasant. Overall, the sound quality is decent but not quite at the level of wired headsets or neckband earphones. (It will do the job.)
Battery Backup: After two days of use, I haven’t needed to charge it yet, and it’s still showing over 70% battery remaining. I don’t anticipate any issues with battery life. (Moderate usage.)
Build Quality: The case is compact and easy to carry, feeling quite sturdy. The earbuds fit comfortably in my ears. The overall construction is solid.
Latency: For gamers, I’m really impressed with the low latency. Even without activating ‘Beast Mode’, the audio feedback is nearly instantaneous. With ‘Beast Mode’ on, it’s flawless. I played BGMI and COD and didn’t experience any sound lag.
Calling: I tested calling in a quiet environment and had no issues. I’ll update if there are any problems in a noisier setting.
