Boult Z40 Ultra

I recently bought the Boult Audio Z40 Gaming In-Ear Earbuds, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision!

Design: The modern and sleek aesthetic of these earbuds is truly impressive. They not only look fantastic but also provide great comfort during long gaming sessions. They fit snugly in my ears, which is a significant advantage since I often struggle to find earbuds that stay put.

Sturdiness: The build quality is exceptional. The materials feel durable and premium, giving me confidence in their longevity. I’ve dropped them a couple of times by accident, but they continue to function flawlessly, showing no signs of wear.

Performance: The dual device pairing feature is incredibly handy, allowing me to switch effortlessly between my phone and gaming console. With an impressive 60 hours of playtime, I don’t have to worry about frequent recharging. The sound quality is outstanding, offering clear audio and deep bass that truly elevates the gaming experience. The built-in app adds extra customization options, which is a great bonus.

The standout feature of this product is its battery life, but I haven’t experienced as much backup as expected—I typically get around 50 hours on a single charge. Additionally, if you don’t use both earbuds simultaneously and keep one in the case, it doesn’t charge and remains connected, which drains the battery more quickly.

As for the noise cancellation, it feels more like a marketing tactic than an effective feature. When using it under a fan, the noise is slightly reduced, but the ANC drains the battery faster. The volume isn’t very impressive; I often have to set it to 70% to get a decent listening experience. While the sound quality and clarity are acceptable, this also contributes to quicker battery depletion.

On the positive side, pairing is quick, and the earbuds can connect to both your phone and laptop simultaneously, switching between devices seamlessly. They also pause playback on the laptop when a call comes through on the phone. The range is better than other earbuds in the 1000-1500 INR range. The microphone quality during calls is decent, although it doesn’t completely eliminate background noise, it manages to facilitate clear conversations. However, sound leakage occurs above 60% volume, meaning people nearby can hear your audio.

I received a used product from Amazon, but their customer service was helpful in facilitating a return. The build quality is satisfactory, with a sturdy hinge that opens and closes securely. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

These earphones are quite impressive. The battery life on each earbud lasts a long time, and they connect quickly. I easily pair them with both of my phones, and they work flawlessly. The sound quality is excellent and comparable to Boat. The app allows for equalizer adjustments, which is something I haven’t seen in other earbuds at this price point, making it a significant advantage.

Aesthetically, they look great with the RGB lighting and transparent cover. However, I find the plastic case quality to be somewhat lacking, and it can be tricky to open with one hand, especially when I’m in a rush.

I’m a bit disappointed that the earbuds occasionally disconnect, as I expected better performance with the latest Bluetooth technology. It would be great if they could release an update through the app to address this issue.
