JBL Wave Flex

I recently purchased the Wave Flex Wireless Earbuds TWS from JBL, and I’m quite impressed with their quality.

Pros:

1. These are NOT in-ear earbuds, despite what the title suggests. They resemble Apple earbuds, which was a crucial factor for me since I’ve always found in-ear models uncomfortable for extended wear. With most brands focusing on in-ear designs these days, I sincerely appreciate JBL for offering this rare option.
2. The sound quality is pretty good and quite clear. While I wouldn’t expect booming bass at this price point, I’m satisfied as bass isn’t a top priority for me. There’s decent bass, nonetheless.
3. They work excellently for walking and exercising.
4. Super lightweight, these earbuds can be worn for long periods without discomfort.
5. The controls are straightforward and effective, allowing you to adjust volume, change tracks, answer calls, and mute simply by tapping the earbuds. You can even customize these controls through the JBL App.
6. The microphone quality is very good. During calls, no one has complained about the sound quality; they say it’s comparable to a standard phone microphone.
7. The Bluetooth connection is quick and stable.
8. They come in multiple colors: Black, Beige, White, and Mint.
9. The battery life is excellent.

Cons:

1. The only downside I noticed is that the volume during calls could be a bit louder. Even at maximum, it feels like it could use a little boost, but it’s not a major issue. I just wish it had been tuned better, which is why I’m giving it one star less in my overall rating.

Also, the earbuds have a very smooth finish, making them somewhat slippery. I recommend getting a cover for them. You can find a great fitting cover for JBL Wave Flex earbuds on Amazon, which I think is a must-have for this product. Link to cover

The charging cable included in the box is completely nonfunctional and fails to connect to the charging case. The quality is subpar, the sound is extremely low, and there’s no active noise cancellation feature. I’m really disappointed with this product.

These wireless earbuds are an excellent value for the price. They are incredibly lightweight and extremely comfortable for extended wear, making them nearly unnoticeable in your ears, and they stay in place even during workouts.

The sound quality is impressive, with strong bass that exceeds my expectations—better than Apple’s wired earphones! The battery life is as advertised.

The mint color is refreshing and visually appealing. The overall construction of the earbuds exudes quality. I highly recommend them.

No noise cancellation and the sound volume is quite low.

These earphones are comfortable and don’t irritate my ears. The sound quality is excellent, and with the JBL app/equalizer, I can customize it to my preference. They fit perfectly and stay in place even while walking. While they aren’t designed for heavy bass, they handle instruments like the tabla beautifully and deliver that signature JBL sound. I’ve tried similar products from brands like Boat and Amazon Basics, but I returned them due to poor audio quality. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone who enjoys mellow, chill music like I do.
