MSI Modern 14 C12M-445IN (Intel Core i3 1215U/8 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 11)

I’ve been using this laptop for two days, and here are my thoughts:

Pros:
1) The metal body gives it a premium feel that’s a pleasure to hold and use.
2) The backlit keyboard is a nice feature, and the touchpad is very responsive and enjoyable to use.
3) The display quality is outstanding; it’s crystal clear, and the blacks are reminiscent of an AMOLED screen.
4) For everyday tasks, the laptop performs well, provided you don’t engage in heavy gaming or intensive editing.
5) It’s incredibly lightweight and easy to carry around.

Cons:
1) The battery life could be better, but the fast charger brings it to 80-85% in just an hour.
2) The speakers could use improvement, as they are quite low and lack bass. However, they perform well with wired or Bluetooth devices.

Overall, I’d rate it a solid 9/10. I highly recommend opting for the 16 GB RAM variant to ensure you have ample memory for most tasks.

It’s excellent for office work. I recommend opting for the 16 GB variant since the 8 GB will be consumed by the operating system along with a few browser and antivirus processes. 🫥

Great balance of performance and price. I opted for the Gen 12 i3 instead of the Gen 11 i5, and it was a smart choice. At 37k with 16GB RAM, it feels like a steal. The performance is solid for an entry to mid-level laptop. While the battery life doesn’t match the claims, the display, ergonomics, and weight are decent.

Cons: camera quality, battery life, hinge design, and the mouse pad feels flimsy.

I purchased this laptop for 32k, and it performs very well compared to others in its price range. For everyday use, it exceeds expectations. It’s an excellent choice for students, suitable for basic image and video editing as well as browsing the internet.

7. Its compact and lightweight nature makes it easy to transport.

Cons:

1. There’s no lifetime access to MS Office.
2. The RAM is not upgradeable.
3. The sound is a bit low, but it’s manageable.

If you’re considering a laptop in this price range, I would definitely recommend this one.
