The sound quality is impressive, and the noise cancellation is excellent. It features touch gestures for adjusting the volume and skipping to the next track. The app is essential for controlling everything.

I purchased these TWS earbuds after being really impressed with the R50i I bought last month. I was looking for a model with noise cancellation, and the Liberty 4 fit my budget perfectly at 8k.

Right out of the box, I was amazed by the fit and sound quality. They feel almost weightless in your ears, and the accompanying app allowed me to customize the sound to suit my hearing, which was a nice touch.

The build quality is outstanding, featuring durable plastic for both the earbuds and the case. The case is robust and has a secure lid, with a button that also serves as a charge indicator LED.

Connecting the earbuds was seamless from the very first pairing. They automatically connect when you open the case, and the internal lights activate when you place the earbuds in for charging. The phone app shows the individual battery levels for each earbud, as well as the remaining charge in the case.

So far, the battery life has been impressive. With LDAC and noise cancellation active, I get around 5 to 7 hours of calls and playback. I believe that without LDAC, you could get up to ten hours of music playback, though I haven’t tested that myself. The sound quality with LDAC enabled is exceptional, especially on a Samsung device, where it shines even more with Dolby Atmos activated.

The app includes various features to manage and control the noise cancellation and transparency modes. It also allows you to customize the touch controls for each earbud individually. A standout feature is the ability to adjust the sound signature based on your personal hearing frequency. The noise cancellation is quite effective, reducing background noise like fans, air conditioning, and car engines by nearly 99 percent.

Lastly, the product comes with an 18-month warranty, which I upgraded to 24 months by registering on the Soundcore website.

Overall, this is a fantastic product for the price, truly exceeding expectations. With a solid warranty and exceptional sound quality, the Liberty 4 is undoubtedly the best TWS with noise cancellation under 10k.

I’m not an audiophile, but I appreciate high-quality music experiences, and I have a preference for bass-heavy earbuds. These certainly meet my expectations.

Pros:

1. The sound quality is impressive (see comparisons with other earphones below).
2. The bass is excellent, maintaining clarity without muddiness.
3. While it’s not the most booming bass, it surpasses the AirPods Pro 2, which cost nearly three times as much.
4. The battery life is outstanding! I haven’t fully drained it yet, but it lasts forever, and the case provides fast charging for the buds.
5. It connects effortlessly to my iPhone, MacBook, and even Android devices, with a stable connection.
6. I can’t speak to the warranty claims process, but they offer an 18-month warranty plus an extra 6 months for free, totaling 2 years of coverage for peace of mind.
7. The Soundcore app features 22 preset equalizers and a HearID option that conducts interactive tests to create a personalized EQ. You can also manually adjust the HearID EQ or combine it with your favorite preset.
8. Multi-point connectivity is decent. It works, though it occasionally takes a moment to recognize and switch between devices.
9. The case has strong magnets that snap the buds into place. The opening and closing mechanism feels premium, and when you press the button on a flat surface, the buds elevate slightly, adding to the overall experience.
10. The look, feel, and sound quality are all premium, and you won’t be disappointed.
11. Call quality is solid.
12. The ANC is very effective, especially for the price; most users won’t require more.
13. The touch controls are responsive, with soft sounds confirming your input. There are options for single, double, and triple taps, plus long presses, providing great customization. In-ear detection is a bit slow but still works well.

Cons:

1. They aren’t overly heavy, but it may take some time to adjust to their size and weight initially.
2. The white version can get dirty quite easily.
3. The case is not the smallest, although it’s lightweight. I’ve included a comparison with a Magic Mouse for reference.
4. The app displays battery life as bars instead of a percentage, which isn’t a big deal since the battery lasts so long.

Comparisons:

1. AirPods Pro 2 have a slightly better sound stage and quality, but not enough to justify their nearly threefold price. Multi-point connectivity is better on AirPods, at least for Apple devices. I won’t comment on ANC, as I’m not a fan of it. The Soundcore earbuds definitely deliver punchier bass, with certain low-end rumbles that create an exhilarating experience.
2. Sony WF-1000XM4: These performed poorly in volume on the iPhone. At 2.5 times the price, the XM4s don’t outperform the Liberty NCs in any aspect.
3. Oppo Enco X2: Sound quality is similar, but the Liberty NCs offer more pronounced bass. Other features can swing either way.
4. Crossbeats Torq 1.0: A niche comparison, but these underrated buds provide punchy bass at the expense of music quality. The Liberty NCs have slightly less punch, but excel in bass quality and overall sound.

Bonus: Check out “Pista the Run Anthem” on YouTube using the Liberty NCs after completing a HearID test or selecting the Soundcore Signature or Bass Boost EQs. The track’s beginning features a rumbly section that will leave you amazed.
