Truke Buds BTG1

For the price, I’m really impressed. The sound profile is well-balanced, with clear vocals and good instrument separation; you can really discern each element. The bass is present, but it’s not overpowering—just acceptable in my opinion. One nice feature is that you can still hear your surroundings when the volume is low (around 10-40%).

Both the earbuds and the case are made of glossy plastic, which looks nice and feels sturdy, though I’m a bit concerned about how they’ll hold up over time in terms of scratches and paint wear.

The Bluetooth range is decent, about 10 meters as advertised, but walls and obstacles can interfere at the farthest distances.

However, the call quality is lacking. You can hear the other person clearly, but your voice echoes back, and they often complain about not being able to hear you well. The microphones leave something to be desired.

Battery life has been about 2 hours and 15-20 minutes at full volume, which is perfect for my workouts. The charging case allows for three full charges, although I’m not sure how quickly it charges to 59%.

I find the earbuds comfortable; they don’t fall out easily or cause discomfort, and they’re so lightweight that you might forget you’re wearing them during activities.

My only minor complaint is that the case design could be improved. It requires two hands to remove the buds, and the hinge is a bit bothersome for me.

Overall, under 800, you really can’t beat the value! 😁

I’ve been using this since December 26, 2022, and today is November 23, 2023. I haven’t used it much—averaging about an hour a day, occasionally 2-4 hours. Initially, it worked well, but for the last 2-3 days, it has been malfunctioning. The last time I used it, it was at 80% charge, but now it’s completely drained without any use. When I try to charge it, it’s not charging properly. 😒 Overall, I’m only giving it 3 stars for 11 months of use. One more thing: the sound quality is decent, but when compared to Boat earbuds, it falls short. And don’t even get me started on OnePlus and Samsung! 😂 Ultimately, it’s your decision. $

The sound quality and bass of this product are disappointing. I purchased the Truke BTG1 (BROWN BOX) three years ago, and it has delivered superb sound and deep bass. However, this product (GREEN BOX) falls short in comparison. I’m quite disappointed.
